Hey Keith, given that you use to produce wooden ware at one time: I am on my second box of frames (Jones) and have been having a real time getting the top and bottom bars into the end bars. It seems like they are just too tight. Often times they are so tight that the end bars develop a split, which requires me to stop, glue, and nail sideways throught the end bars to correct that problem. It was slowing me down so now what I have taken to doing, is lining up my top bars and bottom bars before hand (each group of 10 before they go in the jig) and run a horse rasp over the ends to narrow them down enough to stop the problem. This also slows me down to no end but solves the splitting problem. Why do they make them so bloody tight?
