Was building some screened bottom boards this morning so I could make a split on a very strong hive that I knew was going to swarm. After sawing and thinking for a while I decided to take a break and walk out to the bees, and well, they had already swarmed!! Settled in the old gum tree that is behind my home hives.

Nice!

I wish I had the downright guts to go get swarms in a t-shirt... but I just know the minute I try that I'll end up covered from head to toe in stings. You are a braver man than I.
