I lost my bees this winter, haven't been able to check the hive due to weather.
My question is, if I have frames with honey in the two deeps, can I use that with the nucs I am getting in May ?

as long as they didn't die of European Foulbrood or American Foulbrood. EFB honey is safe for humans but will transmit the disease to other bees. AFB equipment must be burned and buried. What did bees die of? I know weather is not letting you check. The possibility exists that your bees are actually alive but in cluster due to cold. Another member's were. He thought he'd lost the whole apiary. Maybe don't call them dead yet
