Honey Harvest

    Honey harvested.jpg I went and picked up the extractor around 10 am , then got things together and built up my nerve to get started! three hours later I have some honey! boy was I a sticky mess!

    I did it by myself, my husband had a meeting and was supposed to be home by 1:00, but that didn't happen! I was a dripping, sticky, tired mess, but loved every minute of it! I'll let it sit and settle over night then bottle it up in the morning!

    Thanks all! I bottled it this morning and got 12 quart jars of light-colored, beautiful honey! i'll get pics on here this pm.
