Hey folks! I'm an armature macro photographer who is fascinated by bees, both the honey producing and the solitary kind. I hope you don't mind me occasionally posting images

Here's a common European honeybee that I found resting on a leaf -not sure why their metabolisms sometimes tank (I have my own pet theory) but when it happens I can get VERY close. The width if this scene is about 4.8 millimeters wide:

I think these are fantastic! For those that don't know, Dalantech has allowed us to use one of his photo's to be used in our forum banner. It is the one with the closeup on a pink flower on the glacier theme.

Sorry Iddee you may not see it because you use the subsilver2 theme. Those pictures are only on the glacier theme hence the link is only on the glacier theme. Here is the link just in case anyone misses it:
