well I got into my hot tub a week ago during colder weather and noticed along with me where about a dozen or so dead honey bees floating around, took a little time to skim the top and get them out, I figure on a warm day they went for a drink and with the cover down either couldnt get out or the bromine fumes killed them, I hope they dont keep coming back to this water source, during the warmer months when in the hot tub I would see many bees land on the open cover and go towards the water droplets and drink..I wonder if the warmth is also an attractant to them..

it might be. and all kinds of salts also seem to attract them.
