Say 2 or 3 yellow jackets or even honey bees from another hive go in a hive, how do the honey bees fight them off? Would they sting them? Would a sting kill a yellow jacket or what do they do to protect their hive?

They wrestle, they bite, and they sting. They also gang up and work as a team. Whatever the situation calls for.

bees are mean and butal when it comes to a hive invasion. They will do about anything they can to stop it. They will rip the wings off the invaders and maul them to death. Go out in the fall and watch them evict drones. They treat them the same as an enemy when they evict them from the hive for the winter .
