    Hi, I am from Louisiana but alternate between Atlanta, Ga and Florida parishes of La

    I H ave had 2 hives for a couple of years.

    Florida parishes is a term for the parishes north of new orleans that were once part of Florida. I am from Amite La. which is in Tangipahoa parish.

    I live just a bit south of College Station so Howdy is a well worn word of greeting here.

    for those folks unacquainted with Louisiana (el-a in my own short hand) a parish is the equivalent of a county in the rest of the country.
