My bees have gotten used to the tractor but I get head-butted if I use the weed whacker too close. Its amazing how they adapt to the normal goings-on around their homes.

I weed eated in front of mine last week and only got 12 or 14 stings to the face and head. Not enough to even mention. Go ahead and mow.

Nice! When did you start keeping AHB?

Mine seem to handle the lawn mower pretty well, I escaped the ordeal unscathed. However it started raining on me and i had to quitforan hour or so, when the sun came back out they were swarming all around the hive. Is this the foragers that were stuck in the rain coming home all at the same time?

The moment the grass started flying in their front door.

Their is often heavy flight just after a rain. We had a short, hard shower this afternoon. My yard looked like a swarm in progress when the sun popped out.
