My name is vladimir. Im from Ukraine, I live in salem OR.

I never had a choice about keeping bees. my dad had bees since he was a kid, same with his dad. I'm a fourth generation beekeeper..i think... I'm learning everything from my dad when i'm not in school.

Welcome, Vladimir! I work with a man who is (I think) also from the Ukraine, and who also grew up with bees. His family now lives in VA with many hives. He told me a story about how his grandfather dissolved propolis in 70 proof vodka, and then every night drank 1 drop for every year of age he was, and it got rid of his vericose veins!
