Is this brood or capped honey???

    I have 2 hives that i installed april 22. I opened the hives to check on them and not sure what i am looking at. I did see some eggs so could tell the queen was laying eggs recently so that is good. But not sure if the pictures are brood or capped honey. It hurts to ask but i got to know.

    That is brood. The first pic may be emerging, as it is somewhat spotty. The second pic is a nice laying pattern.

    Don't worry, the first time you see honey that your bees have capped right there in your hands, you'll never not know the difference again.
