I've just noticed that Ixora is growing everywhere in my neighborhood and is frequently in full bloom as it is now. I also have a huge hedge of it behind my house (belongs to my neighbor.) Is this a good source of nectar and/or pollen? (And if it is, does it make for tasty honey?)

How about Surinam cherry? (I've also a huge hedge of this. We were planning on removing it, as it's an invasive, but if it's good for the bees... )
