Japan bees cook enemy in 'hot defensive bee ball'

    I wonder if the behavior of sometimes balling an unacceptted queen is related to this kind of balling. Do the bees sting the queen to death or do they "cook" her?:dontknow:

    Ef i think they must sting and bite her, have found queens being balled and after picking her up she is pretty beat up.

    Once I saw a balling start but I pulled out the queen and saved her. That was a one and only experience for me. You must be correct about the way they do it. Spare me such a fate. :amen:
