Welcome, from another lady Beekeeper. Glad to hear you are enjoying the fascinating little creatures. You can actually tell a lot about a hive just by watching and listening.
Just my opinion, but if you can tag along on a swarm capture or a cut-out, your confidence in being around bees will skyrocket, ready for when (not "if") you get a hive of your own!
