Just a quick introduction. I'm not a beekeeper, but I have been known to hang around one and donate a little bit of free labor towards the hobby.

I've been lurking and reading (a lot!), so I'm beginning to have a new appreciation for those little girls and the huge job they do. Maybe someday, I'll get the courage to suit up and see what type of homemakers they are, but for now, I'll just admire them from a distance and appreciate those of you who keep them.

One of two things will happen. 1) On post #5, in the near future or 2) on post 347 sometime down the road, you will say....."Why did I wait so long to get my own hives?"

Lets hope it's the sooner.... ;)

I've never met a "Lady" in beekeeping yet that didn't have ample....or lets say unlimited old beekeepers stumbling over themselves trying to help the new girl on the block maintain her bees. Hey, if you play it right, you may not ever have to suit up.. :)

Seriously, Welcome to the site and I do hope you get your own hive soon.
