Just a quick introduction. I'm not a beekeeper, but I have been known to hang around one and donate a little bit of free labor towards the hobby.

I've been lurking and reading (a lot!), so I'm beginning to have a new appreciation for those little girls and the huge job they do. Maybe someday, I'll get the courage to suit up and see what type of homemakers they are, but for now, I'll just admire them from a distance and appreciate those of you who keep them.

Get yourself a hive or two, they are really quite easy to manage, and if you remember the simple rules, they will behave like little ladies for you. What other hobby, can you think of provides dozens of thousands of laborer that work for you and the only thing you have to do is let the honeybees do what comes naturally for them :D . those girls will give you much to enjoy and are fun to work with and see what you can accomplish with them.Be looking forward to hear how you are making out with them.
