Ladybugs

    It warmed up to the 60's here these past few days, and the asian ladybugs have come out in droves. I mean, you walk outside, and instantly there are 15 on your clothes. They are covering the sides of the house. They crawl down your neck. They get into your wet paint. It's quite annoying and rather creepy.

    I like ladybugs better when I was a kid and they were rare.

    They were like that here about 4 or 5 years ago, then just disappeared. Would get in the house and hoard up in the corners of the rooms, and all in the windows, the outside walls would be covered in them, fly all in your face.

    We had the same thing 4-5 years ago. Then nothing. All this summer... just a couple. And now this in October? Very strange.
