Have a simple Briggs n' Stratton push type lawn mower. No bells nor whistles. It starts and runs fine...but stalls as soon as any kind of load is put on it...even in short grass it will stop running. Any ideas what might cause this?
    Thanks

my first guess would be a governer spring. when was the last time you tuned it up I have seen spark plugs that was fouled. The motor will run until you put a load on it then the spark is to weak to fire when under a load
