    It's frighteninig, positively frightening.
Every time I read about Black Friday I think of the store employee who was trampled to death by the insane crowds pouring into the store when he opened the doors on Black Friday.
Once I saw the crowds camping outside in the cold and snow, so as to be in the front of the line when the store opened. Are people totally nuts? Is that what the're supposed to be doing on Thanksgiving?
Intended or not, the name "Black Friday" is aptly chosen for a very black day---made so by the insane shoppers.
