lol I think theres a hive near my house someplace

    well I cleaned some old comb and tossed it into a box in the sun to dry and 10 min later this is what it looked like, now my hives are 4 miles away so I know there not mine and none were fighting each other so they are all from the same place, and I dont think any1 near me has hives, for it to look like this that fast they gotta be real close by.

    Wish I could, combination of bad eyes and way too many houses and trees :lol:

    they may be closer than you think, houses and trees make good hives!!

    lol now I cant even clean comb outside anymore, this happened to me today

    Bees not fighting doesn't mean they're from the same hive.
    It's only "at home" that the protective "viciousness" shows up. In the field, bees, even from different hives, are the epitome of good manners and sharing.
    So maybe you have a whole collection of swarms in your neighborhood. :yahoo:
