Honey Run Apiaries posted on Facebook where Menards is carrying a hive tool. Made from Tool Shop (yeah, cheapo) It is a set of 3 small prybars located in the hand tool isle. I picked one up yesterday on sale for $4.99. Red Devil has a more heavy duty one for less than $8.00 in the paint section. I have a Menards 3 miles from home and 2 miles from my hives so a lot easier to grab one if I lose or forget my hive tool. Here is HRA link. http://www.honeyrunapiaries.com/blog/other-stuff/hive-tool-from-menards/

In some very old school hardware stores a hive tool may also be called a paint scraper

Paint scraper for painters or small pry bar/ nail puller - needed by every finishing carpenter or cabinet installer.
Just named a hive tool by keepers to confuse painters and carpenters.
