Me and my girlfriend were on the land mowing the properity to attempt to keep down the sandspurs, and for those of you fortunate enough to not know what they are--feel blessed. I brought my lady's attention to a orentation flight of hundreds of new fliers from the hive I gave 3 frames of sealed brood 2 weeks ago thereabouts. She was in awe at the spectacle of all the young bees circling the area returning to face the hive and then making slightly larger circles by noe the three frames I gave them should be sealed again. Still can't understand why the other colony decided to supercede the existing good laying queen--perhaps she was in some way damaged when the truck ran them over--nothing I could detect---but then I am not them.
