I'm writing a paper on migratory beekeeping in the U.S. for pollination and nectar flow and was hoping to include a couple of real-life examples (I'm pursuing a masters in applied entomology). If anyone uses their bees for this purpose and would like to help me out, I'm trying to get a general feel for:
Why did you start migratory beekeeping (& when?)
Do you need to do it for financial success or colony survival? Why?
Do you have to manage your bees differently when you move them around?

    thank you!!

I don't know how many migratory beekeepers are still on the forum. I'm not. Sorry.
