Mold to fight mites
Has anybody heard any more about this mite treatment.
It was mentioned in the February 2009 American Bee Journal
Non chemical treatment for mites.
As part of this research study he has placed mold treatment pads from Sylvan Bioproduct Inc. inside 100 hives. He'll keep a watchful eye on these colonies, hoping that the pads will help control any future mite problems.
