I have to disagree. Moths are the scavengers that clean up the dead. Something else killed the hive and the moths are starting the clean up. Freeze the frames for 24 hours or more and seal in plastic bags until spring, then reuse them. The bees will clean and repair the damage. The frame in the photo is still in very good shape.

With the weather we are having, you can freeze them by just leaving them outsidefor two or three days.
