move a nuc

    moved a nuc to a 9 inch brood box today, only 2 more nucs to move and with any luck these will be the last nucs for me this season, I may raise a few more queens to replace a few I think are less then they should be, I do think the cone-o-bees hive is a great bloodline for new queens.

    Great pics! Looks like they were working hard on those rubber bands. I just recently started seeing rubber bands at the entrance of one of my hives I used cut-out comb in over a month ago...they are determined beings....

    the 2 frames with the bands were extra comb from a cut-out a while back and used it for the nuc so they didnt have to pull much new comb to expand.
