Please consider talking to your associations and clubs to get them involved in the National Honey Bee Awareness Day event. We have had a tremendous response so far.

We also recognize that many individuals do just as much as some groups, when it comes to educating and promoting the bee industry. We encourage individuals to participate. Guidelines for participation can be found on the national honey bee website.

A growing list of participants can be found at http://www.nationalhoneybeeday.com

Last year, we had 41 groups and individuals participate from 16 states. We hope to at least double the numbers this year. There is no cost. This is open to both clubs/associations as well as individual programs.

We also will be having a national theme this year. You can vote for your choice on the national honey bee day website.

This is a day to connect with the local community, and yet be heard on a national level. When many small groups get together and work as one, the message can be multiplied many times over.

    Get Involved!

    Thank you.

We are very pleased to announce that the National Honey Bee Day program, is now administered through the nonprofit requirements and status of Pennsylvania Apiculture Inc., registered and filed with the state of Pennsylvania.

This will allow the program to continue to grow, and possibly open up support, beneficial to the program as a whole.

As always, please consider getting involved. The more associations that support this, the more collective voice and message we can generate.
