A friend sent us this picture of some new arrivals at the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco.

Cute little buggers. I've got some time off around the first of the month. Gonna go and check them out.

A couple of weeks ago we went to see the new arrivals. They're with Mama. She rejected her first cubs, so they were hand raised and we were able to play with them a bit. Mama wasn't too pleased to see us, so I snapped a photo and left them alone.

This litter was a little soon after the first one. The experts said it would take 5 attempts before there was any danger of her getting pregnant....happened after 2...the experts maybe learned something new.

Papa wasn't too keen on the cubs, so he's separated. But, to keep the adults from getting lonely, there's a mirror in the inside enclusure that allows them to see each other's refection.
