Well dad's new established hive has settled right in and is bringing in pollen today. Funny part is that the guy also gave dad 2 honey supersto go with the hive that had drawn comb with some honey in them. Bees found them today in the back of his truck. He said the truck was covered with bees. And they took every bit of honey out of the frames.

That's good they did well. Now protect that comb on the empty supers. I had to deal with wax moth taking over an empty hive this year (my fault totally) and it was the nastiest insect related job I've ever dealt with. It is really disgusting.

They are going into the freezer for a bit to make sure there are no nasties on/in them.
