I'm a fairly new beekeeper. I just started with one hive last April. I plan to add another this spring. So far the first one's doing well.
A nice 3lb package of Italians with a good queen. She went to town raising brood last summer. I was even able to steal a little bit of honey.
I'm in Illinois, close to Springfield, and St. Louis,Mo.
