I'll have a report for you some time next week or the week after. I am going to SC to check, access and feed. I probably should do a mite check or two also. We'll see.

yea no 'girly-men' excuses Mark like 'I was doing Christmas vacation with family' or 'I got stuck in a snow storm in upper New York State'.

any "winter' (what's dat?) losses here will be pretty much unknown until the latter part of January.

looking at how the winter is playing out along the northern tier I would not be surprised o find winter losses to be severe. anyone else care to wager a guess?

I am sure I will loose two of five. they were light and weak all year long. Anyway it will free up some equipment for spring swarms that hopefully will be stronger.

my suggestion to everyone G3 is to... do what you can do, worry less and enjoy beekeeping more. along the way it ain't a bad idea to keep your expectations reasonable.
