Hi, all-

I just installed my package of bees into their new hive yesterday; however, this morning, I realized that we placed the queen in the hive with her candy plug DOWN instead of candy plug UP..... is this going to be a problem? I'm assuming there's a reason they say to put the plug side up???

The reason for putting the candy up is to prevent dead assistants or debris from blocking the exit. It shouldn't hurt anything. I would check them Tues. or Wed. and if she isn't released, I would release her.
