Un-mated a week or so. Mated a day or so. A lot depends of weather, season, or other circumstances.

Never had a virgin lay eggs in 7 days after introduction. I've had mated queens take a week or so to start laying.

A few days to a few weeks. There are too many variables to give you an accurate time frame.
