Nothing goes as planned

    with bees anyway. I put some old brood comb in here and was going to put it up in a tree this weekend. Too late.

    Wow, what a blessing! You didn't even have to go looking for them....they came right to you. Now teach me how to do that trick please :D

    it looks to me Rast like it was a good thing you didn't put the box up in the tree.

    Giving credit where it's due, the comb in the boxes I had 2 swarms land in is the stuff I was gonna trash til sqrcrk and Tec talked me out of it and said to use it in swarm traps and/or splits. I sawed it in half on the table saw. Used the top half as is. Stapled the bottom upside down to some top bars and hung part of them in this box.
