Odd to find this thread, was just telling by daugher-in-law. I would like to set one up, after watching my grandson with his ant farm.

Wonder how he keeps the hive cool, with the sun coming thru the window.

Good question deerman, i would use heat reflective film on the glass but it doesn't look like there anything on that window. It could also be a northern exposure with a well cooled room
