    I was afraid he was snowed in that bee house. I imagined a snow drift up against a door, and dreams of pie around a Rip Van Winkle looking character.

    Did you notify admin? What was their reply if you did? If you didn't, maybe you should. All new websites have bugs to be ironed out. Feedback helps accomplish that.

    "I tried that forum, they change your post if they dont like how something is said, Im kinda big on Freedom of speech[IMG] should be up to the poster to make any changes"

    S
    HB = Small Hive Beetle
    AHB = Africanized Honey Bee

    If changing one letter from A to S, thereby eliminating the confusion resulting from a post about SHB was enough to make you believe your "freedom" of speech was tromped on, Sorry.
    Your assertion that not recognizing the term Africanized Hive Beetle was being "politically correct" is laughable.
    When presenting the "facts", please be kind enough to include them all.

    sorry perry say what ya like, posts being changed by some1 other then the person posting is wrong, maybe up in the great white north its ok but people died here getting the freedoms nomatter how small you think the infraction is, they are African hive beetles, and the "politically correct" was me logging on and finding my posts changed and getting mad, even though I think advertising another forum here is in bad taste the post should not be altered in any way other then by the person posting

    Who do you think you are kidding, zookeep. You used SHB and AHB in the same sentence, meaning the same thing. One letter was changed from A to S. No other changes were made. It was a typo and you know it. Typos are corrected every day on many forums, as some are so bad they aren't readable. You did it to cause trouble and nothing more. Those guys are probably glad you aren't going back.

    I am the one who posted the link, answering the OP's question, not advertizing the forum. Besides, if you look, there are links here for beemaster, beesource, and many other websites. You have a chip on your shoulder for some reason and are taking it out on Perry.

    Why don't you grow up?

    now I wonder who you are, 1st off got no probs with perry at all, he has not changed anything, never said he did,hell I miss chatting with the frozen beek and poking him with a sharp stick to see if he has thawed yet, and as far as AHB the posts in question had nothing to do with africanized bees, it was a post about plastic frames and the nooks and crannies that African Hive Beetles can and do get into, now the next question, pod you gonna log on with your real name or we just gonna sit around and guess, you know a alot for some1 with 4 posts.

    hrm.. The lack of drama at that place is refreshing. I still read other sites, but don't usually post in them. The differences in beekeeping are many, from type of bees to Climate. Hive types, frame type, treatments, and even everyday chores are different depending on the beekeepers method. I truly enjoy learning how others do it, without being made to feel like an idiot if I mention how I do it.
    I have had things changed that I stated. In retrospect, it was a good thing, because I didn't THINK about what I was typing.. You know how it goes right? You tell your wife something that can be taken two ways.. If she starts crying you know she took it the WRONG way!? Then you feel bad, and no amount of explaining will convince her she took it wrong...
    So I suppose if changing that letter was that upsetting, then your life must be GOOD for you to look for something that tiny to be upset about. Keep living the good life. Sorry you left..

    They changed a word I misspelled and I'm glad, as it made no since the way I spelled it. BUT, I didn't consider it an infringement on my Right to Free Speech.I just looked at it as a little help with somethng I overlooked. Heck, go post on a Yahoo message board, they will completely remove a whole post if it's not to their liking.

    He didn't say you couldn't say it, sounds like he was just trying to help. On a lot of forums a message will be filtered before being posted.

    I have removed post's from other people on my Face Book page because I didn't want it on there. I am not saying they don't have a right to say it.

    The one thing I enjoy about bees and beekeeping is it gets my mind off of everything but the bees. I hope the forums stay that way as well. :wink:

    I guess no1 gets that its not what was changed its the fact that anything was changed at all, I spend half the fall and all of the winter trying to keep the forum alive I should not have to worry about something I say being changed cause some1 else didnt like the way I say it, why post then, Im done with the subject.

    Hello, zookeep. Now that I can post again, I'll respond to your posts.
    First, did you go to admin when a mod did something you didn't care for? NO
    Second, try moderating a forum for awhile. Would you remove profanity, pornography, personal attacks on other members, a typo that said do rather than don't, and would cause a newbee to kill his bees? If not, what good could you do as a moderator? Why even have a moderator? Those maintaining a forum have the job of keeping it friendly, informative, and clean. If typos and mispelling give the wrong thought, it cannot stay informative in that condition. No decent forum lets incorrect or misleading info stay, if it is found. That would be totally silly.
    Third. You spent half the fall and all winter on a forum that was started in December? Sounds skeptical to me. The forum was started on Dec. 5, 2013. Your last post was on Jan. 6, 2014. One month and one day. What you got you panties in a bunch about, I don't know, you never contacted me about it. As the other posters have said, you blew it all out of proportion, so it had to be a hidden cause to it somewhere.
    I'm sorry you got angry. You do some nice posting at times. It's just too bad you didn't let the real reason for your anger be known so it could possibly have been addressed.

    I admined this forum for about 6 years. I changed, and/or deleted many posts. I even deleted and banned many accounts, threads, and posts.I never got a comeback like you sent here.

    PS. Your account is still open over there if you decide to visit again. I never banned you nor closed your account. Maybe if you wanted to disclose the real reason for your anger, it's possible we could work out a solution.
