Taking up beekeeping has done more to increase "quality time" for me and my boys than anything in our lives!

It's nice to have quality time with loved ones and it makes it extra special involving "nature" along the way.

Great pics Andy. Now if you could just teach your sons what the brim of their cap is for....:rolling:

Very nice. I enjoy taking youngsters on my trap line and hopefully when I get my bees built up a bit, I can get some of them interested in bee keeping....Tom

img026.jpg Here's a shot of my youngest son (from about 20 years ago) joining me as I rearranged a swarm that was moving into a bait hive and put it into a nucleus. All my sons (6) have worked with me at the hives at various times and the memories of those days are cherished by all of us, I think that those occasions, among many other things, built the strong relationship we all maintain till this very day.
You might say, "The family that gets stings together, clings together".

Well, as you can see, we aren't big fans of veils. After a couple of episodes where girls got lost under the bill and popped the forehead, the boys determined that a different "set-up" was in order.
