Abetter question would be how much honey do I need to leave for the bees to over winter on. It is an area specific question that I do not have the answer for. Where I live it takes about 60 pounds of honey to get them through winter and into the spring bloom. Our winters are pretty mild with the first killing frost sometime in late Oct. and first blooms in late April.

    Welcome to the forum.

Thailand is a popular holiday destination for us Brits.

As a student, I had a holiday in St Petersburg and Moscow.

For your question --- an early fish pie recipe began.... "First catch your fish..."

What is the local beekeeping like ?

tell us a little more about your bees and how your hives are set up, and when you started them, it would help us to help you if we knew a little more
