I actually took it to a shop and for $20 they made slight cuts and widened the ends and welded them up again and now it is perfect (holds 20 frames, just right for the extractor). It took some doing but I removed all the drain assembly (galvanized) and replaced it with potable plastic. Just need a few feet of food grade plastic hose and it's good to go. Now all I need is a HONEY HOUSE to set everything up in!

We have one of those tubs at our farm left over from our dairy days. It's not SS, but I was thinking about painting it and putting it back in service.
