I removed a colony of bees from a house Sunday. There was a bunch of pollen in the comb but not in chunks I felt big enough to try to band in the frame.
My question is will the bees make use of it if I set it out for them to rob out of the comb? Or should i just freeze the chunks and place it on the top bars this fall or next spring?

I think I would just freeze it, they don't seem to rob it out of combs very well from what I have observed.

im not sure about where your at but around here setting comb with honey and pollen in it creates a picnic for the small hive beetle
