    Checked on both TBHs today, queens are free and laying, two to three frames of beautiful soft white comb full of eggs.

    Checked the TBH yesterday, they've been tearing thru the food we give them to the tune of a jar a day or day and a half. 6 of 8 bars have comb, the one in the pic is #6.

    Could you tell a difference in their tempers?

    have always heard that the Russians were a little more aggresive.

    Actually, no, they've been quite nice, great big queen, laying like mad.

    The only time they seemed pissy is when I changed their feeder in th rain. They came out pretty heavy at me.
