shed floor removal

    did this 1 today, 87 and sunny, thought it was going to be a small hive by the traffic, everything went well and had 98% of the comb cut out and most of the bees vac-ed up and still didnt see the queen till just at the very end, she was at the top of the sheet of plywood at the back in a small clump

    It's interesting that bees in "nature" often build the next set of comb 90 degrees to existing one. (Picture No.2.)

    my 1st look into the hive and the queen is doing well, lots of new eggs and larva, and there stores are building up very well.
