    Hi All,

I started my one hive in july of this year. Everything seems to be going along smoothly, and I now have 2 deep supers. The top super has about 4 frames that are not full yet. My question is should I be adding a honey super?
Should I be concerned about the bees running out of room?

    thanks for your time

NO. This time of year, wait until all frames are drawn. Unless you have a stronger fall flow than I've ever seen, they won't draw out another super.

first I am totally not familar with the season in Vancouver Canada (although I did get to visit BC this summer and just let me say here now that you certainly have some beautiful landscapes in wester Canada).

unless the hive is in a state of being extremely crowded I would say no. even crowded 'somewhat' with a small flow there should be some benefit to encouraging the bees to backfill the broodnest at this point in the season.

I didn't get to Vancouver.... Calgary up to Prince George and back was my route of my walk about.
