Signs of Spring

    Today I saw the first flock of Whistling Swans, on their way north to their breeding grounds in northern Canada. That's always a sign of spring on the way.

    Although I remember when they came over last year, they landed in the bare corn fields. This year, there's still a foot of snow on everything. Hope they find enough food to travel.

    I saw a dandelion bloom this afternoon and the wild rose has started putting out leafs.

    My son caught 3 catfish today. It's getting closer all the time.

    Actually, it sounded more like "O Canada" !!!
