Slight bearding

    4:30 AM and they're slightly clustered at two of the entrances. Is this normal? Looks like tiny beards and it doesn't usually look like that at all. ImageUploadedByBeekeeping Forum1466238635.182742.jpg

    absolutely normal. It might get much heavier than that at times. Curious, what happened with the queen cells?

    There's so many bees around j can't really see. I think they're gone. I didn't open the hive though because I didn't want to affect her mating flight once I thought I may have waited too long to check..... I'll update when I know she's definitely not doing that. I read a virgin queen could leave if u disturb the hive ect. They definitely haven't swarmed. It looks like they keep multiplying so idk what the deal is with the old queen. I'll look when virgin is done flying for sure. The cells were capped on May 30th
