I went out with another beekeeper today. As we pulled back into the house after making splits and nucs all day, we were standing in the yard talking. And here comes a swarm from the home yard.
As we stood there, they go right over our heads. Up over the corner of the house and through the backyard.
I said that I'm hoping they go into one of those hives stacked near the shed.
And there they go, right into an empty hive.
What a way to wrap up the day...
