Soured honey smell coming from hive

    Canyou tell me what is going on? There is a soured honey smell coming from the hive and at the bottom of the hive there is dead larva falling out and the larva is almost fully developed bees! What has happend to them? And how do I fix the problem? :beg: :cry:

    Go into the hive and check for SHB. If nothing looks amiss, it is Goldenrod honey being processed, and the larva are drones being kicked out for the winter.
    If it is SHB, you need to take immediate action.

    small hive beetle = SHB

    If you are too new to make a judgment when you go into the hive, you might want to contact this guy and ask him if he could come over and take a look.
