Ingredients: 2 heaping tablespoons of cocoa 1 cup of sugar 3 tablespoons of flour 4 cups of milk 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 tablespoon of butter Mix the cocoa, flour, and the sugar in a pot with a fork or whisk until well blended. Add all of the other ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring, constantly, over medium heat. Continue cooking until the gravy is the desired thickness. Serve hot over cathead biscuits with lots of butter.
we are chocolate gravy junkies! I have made that for my kids since they were just tiny little things.... it always amazes me how many people have never heard of it! I was more than happy to introduce my sweet little grandbabies to the wonderful richness of chocolate gravy last summer too
