Had a call today. Man said he had two swarms in the same tree. Said I could have one if I would bring a box and help him catch the other. Both swarms reachable from a step ladder. We put one in his box, one in mine and placed them 50 feet apart.
While standing and watching the stragglers go in, all the bees in my box started making a mass exodus. Into the air, a few circles, and down to his box. Within 10 minutes, all were in his box. No bees for me today.
