Stacking your firewood.

    Pretty cool...it takes me long enough to stack my wood now....

    Yes, the genius of people shows in ways we cannot predict. Culture around the world is surprisingly varied. I heat our house with firewood during the mild winters of North Central Texas, I can't imagine gathering that much wood for a winter :)

    wow and I thought I'd done good stacking the firewood at the camp site on skids

    I toss the cut trees at the edge of the yard to cure all summer, and cut enough in advance of each cold wave... Last year I stacked. I don't have that kind of time. Nice long tree trunks do not provide such good rat habitat

    I heat with wood since the great freeze of 2010 when I paid way too much for my electric heat to let my house be freezing.
